Platelet-rich plasma

Indications for PRP

Platelet Rich Plasma(PRP) consists of injecting one’s own serum enriched with platelets to naturally regenerate tissues without risk or noticeable side effects. Platelet growth factors will stimulate the production of collagen and elastin and provide better tissue vascularization, resulting in a significant increase in skin elasticity and thickness.

Also known as dracula therapy or vampire lift, PRP can be used on all skin areas such as the face, neck, décolleté, hands and scalp.

PRP is a treatment for devitalized, wrinkled, or dehydrated skin, waxy or blurred complexion, weakened, thinning hair or hair loss.

Course of the PRP session

The treatment takes about 1.5 hours and involves blood sampling and skin injections. Side effects are rare (redness, temporary swelling). One can remake oneself as of the following day.

The results are quickly visible with a rejuvenation of the skin and a visible reduction of wrinkles and fine lines. The hair gains in strength and beauty, the fall is slowed down.

The treatment has long-term results. Since Dr. Roux injects a sufficient amount of plasma in one session, one session per year is usually sufficient (no need to re-inject plasma every 3 weeks).
